Call for Instructors

The Pontiac School of the Arts (PSOTA) is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run art school. Our mission is to Inspire Creative Discovery in Everyone.

PSOTA is looking for instructors to teach ART AND CRAFT COURSES in English or French in three categories.

Courses for adults (16+)
Half-day, one-day, two-day, three-day or four-day courses. Courses will be scheduled on weekdays and weekends at the Stone School, 28 rue Mill, Portage-du-Fort, Quebec

Creative Sampler
A one- or two-day program of mini courses designed to give participants an introduction to two techniques per day. Creative Sampler will be scheduled at The Stone School.

If you wish to teach more than one course please provide separate information for each.

Adult courses at the Stone School will run from 9 am to 4 pm each day with 1 hour for lunch. Creative Sampler courses will each run for 3 hours each. GET ART hours will depend on the program offered.

In all cases, instructors will be paid $28/hour for teaching time.

Acceptance of your course will be the decision of the PSOTA organizing committee. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
